Jews forced to table dance

Faye Schulman, Sarah Silberstein Swartz, A Partisan's Memoir: Woman of the Holocaust, Toronto: Second Story Press, 1995, p.65.

  1. 'Lenin' the place mentioned in the table dancing story is not a town named after Lenin but a Jewish shtetl in Belarus (Chaim Weizmann's brother-in-law came from there) and for years I've wondered if Lenin took his pseudonym from this place given the unsatisfactory explanations for his choice of alias.

    1. Hey Henry.

      That's interesting.

btw, are you the Henry who's recently signed-up on rodoh ?

    2. For my sins I have to say yes I am He...lol

    3. Good man!

It was particularly the content of the posts that made me suspect it most.
