"hit everything that moved on the roads"

This photo and caption appeared in the January 1946 edition of Flying Magazine (Vol. 38, No.1) in an article titled "U.S. Tactical Air Power in Europe.

  1. I live in a small town in Germany. I know at least two persons in the neighbourhood, who where attacked by american fighter planes on their way to school, so they had to run for cover. This was in spring 45.
The fighter planes also tried sometimes to target the windows of solitude farm houses or shot cattle on the meadows. This seemed to be some kind of sports for them. May be they did this, because german people were presented to them as inhuman monsters by jewish Hollywood propaganda for long years.

    1. They still are portrayed in 2014 by Hollywood as vile monsters worthy only of extermination. Coming out this month from Tinsel Town the Monuments men and The Book Thief
